The diagnosis of radicular pain secondary to Piriformis Muscle Syndrome has been historically difficult due to lack of accurate means to identify and selectively inject the abilipiriformis muscle. This paper describes a simple and eproducible technique to safely inject the piriformis muscle, using a combination of fluoroscopic guidance and a standard neuro-muscular stimulator.
